  • Autoprint Inc. is a startup with the goal of democratizing 3D Printing and pushing the boundaries of desktop 3D Printers. I was appointed COO when the company was incorporated in March 2021. While COO, Autoprint Inc. developed an IoT product, filed for a patent and raised funds for development.

Specifics

  • Raised $13k in a month-long fundraiser.
  • Built a Chrome Extension to send STL Models to a 3D printer.
  • On our proprietary Linux-based IoT platform, the STL was processed and delivered to the printer.
  • Filed a provisional patent for our custom printing processes.

FRC Robotics Team NOMAD

Team Captain, Software Lead

June 2019 - June 2022

  • NOMAD is a community based FIRST Robotics Competition Team from San Diego. In six weeks the team designs, builds, and programs a 150lb, 3ft tall robot to complete a new set of challenges every year.

  • I joined the team in 2019 as part of the pit crew working on changes to the robot code in the high-pressure environment of competitions. As Software Lead I organized the software sub-team and handled delegation, project management, and communication with the other sub-teams. In 2021 I was nominated Team Captain. As Team Captain I managed communication with the other sub-team leads and made the final call for all decisions that impacted the team.

  • Led a multidisciplinary team of 21 in the fundraising, design, construction, and programming of a 150lb robot that was completed in six weeks.
  • Led a team of 6-8 in Agile Design and programming with only six weeks of development time.
  • Won the Innovation in Control Award at the 2022 Las Vegas Regional out of 44 teams.
  • Won the Industrial Design Award at the 2021 Virtual Competition out of 30 teams.
